What did I learn from the Iconic Indian ads in the 21st century?

KNOCK…KNOCK…KNOCK.

Its not a psychological class that I am taking here.

So chill and relax this Sunday with the most thought Indian ads
that held you hijacked for a while, sometime in the past.😜

Before I start, tell me one thing.

Are you a thinker or a mere content consumer?

If you are a thinker, then you already know the drill.

If you have just consumed those ads, ponder on those ads today to learn something new.

Today I sliced them down to key pointers after observing those ads on Youtube.

✅Unconventional-It will keep you curious to see the entire ad.

✅Storytelling-Hooking you with a story that you can relate to.

✅A sense of ‘I am there for you always’- Its a great strategy to build trust and credibility. Its like you can travel anywhere, you may be in any situation, but I will hold your hand from the back.

✅Deploying context element into the ad-Its a pyramid structure that your ad has to marry to optimize its maximum potential.

✅Inculcating Nostalgia in the ads by taking you back to the 1990's- Another great way to trigger your emotion and hook you till the end.

For example, Nostalgia of your small town or tier-2 city where you enjoyed your schooling and childhood and now you are living in a posh tier-1 city.

✅Taking any true story in the ad- It will connect you even better to visualize that moment and tagging it to the current scenerio.

✅Selling hope in the ad campaign-like, how can you make more money online if you get this product or service?

Or else, how can you build a better relationship with your parents, spouse or children to live a king-size life?

The ad is trying to make you travel from your current state to your desired state-Take an example of a coach trying youtube ads to sell his course.

He will say that hire me because you can save time, money and energy. You will fast track your progress within a limited period as I have knowledge and experience with proven results.

Will you not get convinced by that ad if he backs it up with real testimonials?

✅KNOCKing in the glass to grab your attention- recently you can see brands are advocating this to grab your attention within milliseconds.

✅Don’t get offended, boys, but a cute girl can also retain you till the end-Airtel is a brilliant example of this by bringing sasha chettri.

✅Now, how can I forget CRED ads depicting Rahul Dravid as an extreme ravage, angry personality-Flipping personalities and bringing extreme contrast hook you till the end.

✅Direct Response ads-Its a way to have a 360-degree outlook of what you will get and how the brand is coming up with any product. You will get convinced to click on the shop now button on that spot itself.
